Cinderlands Beer Co is a Pittsburgh-based craft brewery and kitchen. Our first location opened in December 2017 on Butler St in Lawrenceville. We opened our second location in May 2019, Cinderlands Warehouse in the Strip District, and our third location in Wexford opened February 2021. Wexford Taproom only serves our Cinderlands brand beers and small food items. It has a beautiful patio with a built-in fireplace and lots of space to enjoy sitting in the sunshine and sipping on beers. We offer full retail of merchandise including glassware, t-shirts, gift cards, and packaged cans to go. We seek to curate a friendly neighborhood environment, allowing our guests to relax and enjoy themselves. Our food and beer is crafted at Cinderlands Warehouse to enhance that experience — a balanced mix of familiar and creative. Our team is knowledgeable, professional, and committed to quality. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join us in offering warm service, fresh flavors and a comforting experience for our guests. Manager Responsibilities include:

  • Strong knowledge of craft beer is expected

  • Representing Cinderlands Beer Co. in a positive way

  • Responsible for upholding the quality of the brand and the brand's products. This includes restaurant cleanliness, staff morale, and daily tasks.

  • Overseeing a staff of around 4 people; hiring, training and scheduling

  • Handling money and reporting correctly

  • Helping with kitchen duties and preparing dishes

  • Working closely and communicating with the Chef

  • Updating and maintaining menus and POS systems

  • Working closely and communicating with Ownership and other managers at the other locations

  • Meeting and collaborating with management group from all locations

  • Working closely and communicating with Brewery staff.

  • Following all ACHD guidelines

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and orderliness within the bar and dining areas

  • Following production SOPs and contributing to their ongoing development

  • Working safely and efficiently

  • Maintaining safe conditions for other employees and visitors

  • Ordering, receiving and organizing shipments and supplies

  • Counting and recording inventory thoroughly and accurately

  • Keeping accurate, timely, and legible records

  • Reporting safety, maintenance, or beer quality issues to supervisors
