Long Story Short is a neighborhood bar and sandwich shop by the folks from Cinderlands Beer Company.
The name “Long Story Short” comes from our winding and circuitous path to get to exactly where we should be. This original location has been through a heady opening, a brewery transformation, a few menu iterations, and a a global pandemic. Long story short: we love beer, sandwiches, Lawrenceville, and hanging with our buds. Here we are now, doing it all.

LSS is a love letter from Cinderlands Beer Co. to the Lawrenceville neighborhood it first called home.
We’ve reimagined our original space as a humble neighborhood bar that serves award-winning beer from Cinderlands and munchies-inspired sandwiches driven by nostalgia, regional pride, and everyday accessibility.
We drew inspiration from the warm memories and feelings we get from classic places in our lives across the decades: rec rooms, arcades, classic neighborhood bars of different stripes, and great delis and sandwich shops.
A new focus for the space is offering a great new lunch option in the neighborhood during the week while continuing to be a lively–yet different–neighborhood gathering space at night. We encourage guests to dine in with us or use any of the major online ordering services for pickup or delivery.

No reservations needed. Walk-ins welcome.

Street parking on Butler Street.
Is Long Story Short wheelchair accessible?
The first floor is. The mezzanine, where the pinball machines are, is not.
Is there outdoor seating?
Four bar stools out front, open weather permitting.
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are welcome at the four outdoor bar stools out front.
Can large groups walk in?
The Back Room seats 15 and can be booked for private events. It has two TVs, a dart board and a pool table.
Vegetarian or vegan options?
There are vegetarian options on the menu. We do not currently have vegan or gluten-conscious options.
Do you have non-alcoholic drinks?
Yes. Hop Run, our non-alcoholic hop water, plus sodas, water and mocktails.
Can I buy beer to go?
Definitely. Four-packs and 12-pack cases are available.
What games and music do you have?
A pool table and vintage darts.
Do you host private events?
